The Middlefield Veterinary Clinic (MVC) held a ground-breaking ceremony on Nov. 3 in Middlefield just across from Walmart, where they will begin construction immediately.

MVC is currently located in the Middlefield Bank plaza downtown Middlefield and has been in operation since 1997 serving the growing Middlefield community.

This new veterinary hospital will provide nearly 5,000 sq. ft. of floor space. The focus of this facility will be “Fear Free” animal care which is accomplished by expanding from two exam rooms to five exam rooms and the spacious lobby will allow animals the freedom to enter and exit. The lighting and acoustics of the building also support the “Fear Free” concept.

The same compassionate and caring Quality Animal Care will be emphasized. The new location will allow them to offer digital dental and general radiography, dental surgery and routine cleanings, on-site laboratory testing, wellness exams, preventative vaccinations, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, Ultrasound diagnostics, Glaucoma screening, pain management, treatment of pocket pets and exotic species.
